You can connect your Autodesk Fusion account to your Backflip account, which will import your cloud-synced Fusion design files into a folder in Backflip, allowing you to work with them in Backflip, including enabling them to appear in search results via Backflip’s AI photo and image search.

Find a broken part in your manufacturing line but don’t know what it is or whether you have CAD of it to replace it? Once you’ve connected your Fusion account to Backflip, you can take a photo and use it to search for matching geometries across your Backflip parts and Fusion CAD files.

To connect your Fusion account to Backflip:

  1. Navigate to the Integrations tab in Settings. Login to Backflip and navigate to Settings, then the Integrations tab on the sidebar,
  2. Click the ‘Connect’ button in the Autodesk section of the screen.

  1. Follow the prompts to authorize access to your Fusion account. You’ll be redirected to an Autodesk sign in page in a new tab. Once you complete the login process and authorize Backflip access, you’ll be redirected back to the Backflip tab.

  1. Your Fusion files will sync with Backflip into a folder named ‘Autodesk’ inside your Library. You can also manually sync them with the ‘Sync All Autodesk’ button inside the Settings > Integrations tab in the ‘Autodesk Sync’ section that will appear once you’ve successfully connected your Fusion account to Backflip.
