You'll need a Backflip account attached to an email address in order to use Backflip tools and services.

Accounts and Organizations

A Backflip account is contained within a Backflip organization, which contains all your user accounts, parts, and other data, and is automatically created when you make a new account.

If you plan to add other users to your organization, create an account first, and then add those additional users to your organization later within Backflip.

If you’d like to create an account within an existing organization, reach out to the organization’s admin and request that they create an account for you within that existing org.

You can have multiple Backflip accounts registered to a single email address, however each account will belong to a different organization with it’s own database of parts, user accounts, and data.

Creating a new Individual Account or Organization

To create an account and get started:

  1. Navigate to https://login.backflip.ai/ and click the “Sign up” text below the log in options.

  1. Fill out the brief sign up form with the requested info. You’ll be asked to create a password on the following screen.

  1. Verify your email address by entering the code sent to your email inbox. You’ll need to do this before continuing with the sign up process.
  2. Agree to the Backflip Terms of Service. On your first login, you’ll be asked to agree to our TOS before you can get started
  3. Account successfully created. Enjoy your new Backflip account!

Joining an Existing Organization

If you’d like to join an existing organization, ask your org admin to create a Backflip account for your email address.

Your admin will need to:

  1. Navigate to Settings in their Backflip account while logged in.
